Trish and Dominic have worked together for over fifteen years and share a love of coffee and real food. Trish’s love of coffee led her to qualifying as an international Speciality Coffee Association competition judge. Sarah is the Manager of Rafters Cafe, she is in charge of everything. From making sure the staff are in the right place at the right time to making sure every customer is treated as a VIP. She also manages Rafters Schools Contracts and the Outside Catering. Just as well she has plenty of help. Nikki the Head Chef is another busy person in Rafters Café. Running a busy kitchen with a separate bakery is no mean task.
With her team of five chefs, Laura produces top class food all day every day.
Trish and Dominic opened Rafters Café in December 2011. The plan was to provide simple top quality food, using fresh and local ingredients at affordable prices. Obviously, this is what customers wanted at the time because Rafters Café took off from day one and was an immediate success. Since then, the business and the menu has grown and now menu items from all over the world are featured, but the original philosophy remains the same, ingredients have to be fresh and local and if we cannot do a dish first class every time, we just won’t do it !!The other thing that still remains the same is, the prices are still affordable.
